Hedda Morrison was a German photographer who created memorable documentary images of Beijing, Hong Kong and Sarawak from the 1930s to the 1960s. She moved to Canberra in 1967 and died there in 1991 aged 82. She was made a life member of the Canberra Photographic Society. The Society's Hedda Morrison Print Portfolio Competittion and Hedda Discussion Group are named in her honour.
